This is a very interesting video on the grain markets. I know most people here trade the metals, but I found this guy really smart and fearless, and his ability to see the big picture and connect the dots of international trading is a pleasure to watch. His audience are mostly farmers who voted almost 80% for Trump, yet he fearlessly outlines how Trump's policies are hurting farmers. In this video he talks about how the 20 billion loan swap Trump is giving to Argentina allowed them to make it so China bought 20 ship loads of soy beans? the next day or so, orders that might have gone to the US! The complexity of todays geopolitical chaos affects the metals markets in a unique way, as we are seeing, so it is smart, IMO, to know how all the wheels are churning up synergistic market affects.
