It’s not unlike what Amazon and probably others are doing. You can now return goods in places like Staples. You don’t even have to package them up. Just think of the cost savings of returning goods in bulk versus individual returns. It’s monumental. On a side note … I often meet a really nice guy in his late 50’s on my dog walks who delivers mail in my neighbourhood and has done so for many years. I quizzed him on his income. Never got a precise answer but it sounds like he is making $100K plus and is looking forward to retiring in the not too distant future with an only slightly reduced pension income.
