Officials say the Mercedes-Benz Vision V incorporates Gauzy technology in about 75% of its glazing. Mercedes-Benz’s new Vision V limousine utilizes technology from Gauzy to create light control and provide a space for projection. “The Vision V reflects the broader direction of the automotive industry, showcasing the growing integration of smart glass technologies for passenger cars, especially in EVs, across both interior cabins and vehicle exteriors,” says Gauzy CEO Eyal Peso. Mercedes-Benz introduced Vision V at its brand day on April 22. Officials say The luxury limousine is the first Mercedes-Benz vehicle to utilize Gauzy’s combination of Suspended Particle Device and Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal technology.
