Dorel has just released its 4th quarter and full year 1997 results, and they are nothing short of sensational:

fin-info.com

Full year EPS are $2.06 ($2.00 fully diluted), which exceeds even the most optimistic forecasts. Fourth quarter results were outstanding, 60 cents per share (57 cents fully diluted). Net earnings jumped 63% over the year-earlier results.
Moreover, the report also describes planned moves by Dorel that will further augment sales and profitability in 1998. No wonder that the shares (DII.B on TSE and MSE) are trading at new highs today and appear set to go substantially higher over the next year. Dorel has established its bona fides as a true growth company, even in a mundane consumer products industry, and yet it is still trading at just under a 20 PE multiple, actually less than the market multiple as a whole.
