An update on my computer/browser issues--

I have no problem with my laptop. I can run multiple windows and programs on it with no issues, at least so far. And I have no problem on the desktop running with just one or sometimes two windows open. But I often have more than one or two windows and even more than one browser open since different programs run better on different browsers. But the computer first gets slow and then freezes altogether if I have three or more windows open for more than, say, 10-15 minutes. I can't even run Task Manager very well when that happens. When I do finally get task manager up, it shows many Firefox or Chrome processes running. Dozens of them. I suppose this is a feature as far as Microsoft is concerned.

But like I said above, this doesn't happen on my laptop. So that would seem to rule out T-Mobile as the source of the problem. And the fact that it happens on two different browsers seems to rule out each of them as the source of the problem. When I unplug the computer for a 10-15 seconds, it will again run multiple windows for 10-15 minutes before getting slower and slower and then freezing.This HP desktop has 12GB of DRAM with an I5 processor--I would have thought that that would be sufficient for the kind of browsing that I do.

But apparently not.
