How One J6er Has Been Emboldened by His Pardon
Some insurrectionists have reoffended. Others have run for office. Cleveland Grover Meredith, Jr., is campaigning to get reparations—from “the deep state” and his parents.

... At some point this summer, Meredith even turned on his former attorney, Kiyonaga. He wrote on Facebook that Kiyonaga was a “treasonous motherfucker” and a “POS.” He’d e-mailed Kiyonaga similar remarks, adding, “I’m taking everything you own.” Kiyonaga told me, in response, “I fought hard for Cleve. Really hard—and effectively. Against a D.O.J. that was hell-bent against him. So I don’t get any of this. And the notion that I am part of any ‘deep state’ or somehow worked against his interests is just absurd.” Recently, after Charlie Kirk was killed, Meredith seemed to reach a new level of hostility. He posted, “MYFUCKINGBLOODISBOILING!” A few days later, he added, in a post that Facebook eventually removed, “I want every single Lefty arrested and EXECUTED!”..
