The Ford government’s debt is huge and you can have your say about it.

Premier Doug Ford will keep borrowing billions until at least 2030 and will add over $100 billion in new debt, according to what the Financial Accountability Office’s summer report shows.

The Ford government will borrow $14.6 billion this year alone. That’s the cost of building 292 schools.

Interest on the debt is already costing taxpayers $1.4 billion every month and those interest charges are going up fast.

Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy claims that his government has been fiscally responsible.

But he doesn’t get to answer this question – taxpayers do. That’s why we’re asking taxpayers like YOU if the government is borrowing too much.

This is your chance to tell us your opinion with this quick one-question survey. Just click your answer to automatically vote.

Question: Is the Ford government borrowing too much money? Click your answer.
YES NO

I’m worried about my little brothers because they’re going to be stuck paying for these debts with their taxes. That’s not fair. And it’s not fair to families across Ontario. That’s why we need to know whether you’re worried about the debt too.

Thanks for stepping up and fighting for taxpayers – it’s making a difference!
