The iButton chip is real!
The ibutton is designed for secure transactions, email, and commerce on the internet. The ibutton has a true microprocessor and a crypto accelerator for RSA and other public/private key encyption standards. Yes, you did read correctly, the chip can handle 1024 bit RSA key generation, encryption and private storage. There are many applications for this chip, many of which I am unable to reveal at this time. It will be a hot seller, though. We refer to it as the crypto chip at Dallas.
For more information on the i-Buttons and crypto chips see the webiste: ibutton.com
The site should have everything you would like to know.
Best Regards
John
