Your post caught my attention because of a (maybe) related problem here. My HP desktop isn't as "big" as yours. It's 5+ yo, won't let me update to Windows 11, which I'm okay with for the time being. I have a new laptop to do more heavy lifting. My desktop, after 15 or 20 minutes, with 4-5 windows open, will start showing me ".... window not responding" and offers to wait, or close. Depending on importance, I do one of them, but often I just wait a few seconds and it comes back. However it then goes in and out of responding. I've never seen a reason for this, but your situation gives me something to consider.... I guess. Ideas?
