How do either of you explain the falling $US (falling DXY)? Is this independent of foreign trade & tariffs? It may/could be because is the unsustainable debt but many of these foreign countries have long term debt issues as well.

I do agree w/ the tariffs as a way to respond to unfair trade especially w/ the EU and their VAT tax. I would like to think that after 5 years all parties might agree on little or no tariffs but once the money starts to flow, it's hard to turn that off.
