Blue PHOLED also was the subject of a technical talk by Haonan Zhao, University of Michigan, where he discussed enhancing blue PHOLED lifetime. His talk focused on the group's research and findings on plasmon-exciton-polaritons (PEPs) increasing the strength of the Purcell effect in a blue OLED with a Pt phosphor, which together with microcavity engineering, resulted in a 10-fold increase in device lifetime.

  • Rasha Hamze is a senior research scientist at Universal Display Corporation. Her work focuses on advancing the stability, efficiency, and color performance of PHOLED materials. Hamze serves on the SID I-Zone Committee, and she received a PhD in chemistry from the University of Southern California
