What the author fails to mention or even acknowledge is that the people are out in the streets protesting because their government is not aligned with the people’s wishes.

it is not Elon Musk or tech billionaires that are creating the civil unrest. It is the policies of the current politicians that are antipathetic to the UK people’s standards and values. Many ancestors of those people died in wars to keep Britain free – or at least that was the reason given. Now those proud people who sacrificed so much, who gave the world so much, including the English language are subordinate to foreigners and locked up if they say something deemed offensive?

Britain is currently unrecognizable for many people. The land of “Fair Play and Justice for all”, is suddenly locking up grandmothers for posting something on a social media platform. while protecting foreigners with different religions and different customs from” hate speech“

The article itself is a classic example of the narcissistic, arrogance of the ruling class that believe that they can do no wrong and that they have all the answers when in fact they can’t see the forest for the trees.
