the numbers needed to develop the property have been out a while...i wouldn't worry about a hit based on that press release. rigi and feasability increase the value of los azules whether it's developed or not.

but you're right, lots of money needed to mine it. there was a time when there may have been hype that a public offering would finance it but that's obviously not going to be enough any time soon. my preference would be to try and get a good price, cash it in and focus on north america...rob has had good luck with the explorers they've invested in over the past few years. most in canada...and argentina will always be risky imho.

wrt financing, i have very mixed emotions about the IFC but you might be interested in this release from last week that didn't get as much attention as the RIGI news...rob's quote's interesting, not sure how seriously to take it..

IFC-mcewen agreement

"This IFC collaboration is a game-changer for Los Azules—it will help us align with top-tier sustainability standards while paving the way for IFC as a potential lead lender and equity partner, driving value for shareholders and Argentina alike," commented Rob McEwen, Chairman and Chief Owner of McEwen Inc.
