"Boomers all sold out of PM shares which allows next generation to buy ?" I'm not sure I understand. I doubt they "all sold out," but given their ages, they should be at a point in their investment cycles where they should be more into income producing "safe" investments than speculative ones. But some of us older folks - I am a war baby, not quite a boomer - have long been into metals and mining given the influences of our elders who suffered thought the Crash and Great Depression circa 1929 to WWII, and the confiscation of their gold by Roosevelt.
