Do you think Pfeiffer made a conscious decision to take CPQ down the slower growth path because he could see no clear way to compete with the Dell's of the world? I have a hard time believing he would accept this type of stock performance for 'years'. My guess is that CPQ mgt will have a few aces up their sleeves to get the DEC deal moving ASAP. Guess we will see if we bought the wrong stock or not. Certainly this stock has been a dog in view of recent DOW and Dell performance. So far the score in points since October lows is approximately:
Dell - 60
CPQ - 15
