WOULD YOU EAT THIS CHARRED LEMON-OREGANO OCTOPUS

Ingredients:

2 lbs octopus, cleaned
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
Zest and juice of 2 lemons
2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried oregano)
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cleaned octopus and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until tender. Drain and let cool.
Once the octopus is cool enough to handle, cut it into smaller pieces (tentacles and body sections).
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the octopus pieces in the marinade and let sit for 30 minutes.
Preheat your grill or grill pan to high heat. Grill the marinated octopus for 3-4 minutes per side, until nicely charred and crispy on the edges.
Serve the charred octopus with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy your Mediterranean-inspired seafood delight!
