it would really depend on the economics of it. Will they be able to get a judgement to stop ARM from making chips in competition to their customers by claiming that all their chipsets are tainted with this ill gotten gains?

If that is the case, then it may be worth it. If not, then it may be better to settle fast and remove the uncertatinty from alot of the business relationships and go spend all that effort on building more server chipsets.

On NVDA cooperation, i wonder if Qcom can put the new high speed interface specifically for nvidia chipsets as a sweetener for getting into the mass server business. would be a huge win.
