You can, and should, use the spreadsheet for older distribution data. There were a lot of discrepancies between sites, including the fund web site, for data earlier than 2018 (I think, do not remember for sure).

CEFData, CefConnect, Fidelity, Yahoo sometimes had different amounts due to many reasons. The fund websites often didn't provide data more than a few years before. The data is better now, but anything older was manual labor to reconcile. I think I provided a disclaimer about old data, have to look. Ahhh memories of youth...2022 LOL.
