It went Chapter 11. That kept the creditors at bay and then it reorganized. The creditors agreed to exchange its debt for stock. The enterprise value was in essence equal to the debt. But creditors agreed to allow existing shareholders to exchange their common shares for a fractional ownership in the company. A 10% option pool was carved out to incentivize management. In essence the debt holders own the company.
