Don, I have no position in NVX right now. I have to admit that I am looking at buying puts sometime in the second half of next year if the stock is still lofty! Why, you ask. Not because I'm an expert on the situation but because Sturza's is! I subscribe to the newsletter and I believe it is the most knowledgeable letter if you follow biotech. The track record of the newsletter is amazing. I know nobody's perfect but I have never seen them make a completely wrong investment decision on a biotech! As far as this all relates to NVX, the major negative publicity stems from the fact that NVX is well behind the competition in terms of getting its vaccine to market AND their vaccine is also the least effective in terms of the competition. That's the negative summary on the stock in a nutshell. Also analysts have made lofty earnings projections on the stock but with the aforementioned problems, the stock has most likely gotten way too ahead of itself. Also, the October issue of Worth even had a negative opinion on the stock by none other than Michael Murphy - one of the most respected tech writers in the business. He said the stock was overvalued at any price above $5. Just throwing caution into the wind based on what two of the most respected names in the business have to say on NVX!
