just one estimate claims oil demand won't peak until 2025
goldmansachs.com

re pipelines, both Japan and Korea have told Premier Smith they will take a million barrels/day from Alberta.

There is a solid economic case for an oil pipeline to the northern west coast, either Kitimat or Prince Rupert.

It is my hope that PM Carney does ensure there are no more pipelines built and does not remove the tanker ban, and does not remove the oil and gas production caps as that will swell the ranks of Albertans ready to vote for independence. The best part is that if a referendum succeeds, negotiating with Canad will be moot as the USA has already stated they will immediately recogize Alberta as a sovereign independent nation. Vive L'Alberta Libre.
