What are you using? Lotus123?

Excel has had the ability for ages but back when I first started, I used 123. My trick was to scale the S&P to fit with a plot of the VIX. My trick was to divide the S&P close by a fixed number and then add an offset and plot on the same scale. I'd mess with the scale factor to have it fill the y range and use the offset to move it away from the VIX. All you would need is the daily close for the S&P 500 which I could send you or you can download for free from Yahoo!.
