As you can see, measles mortality went from 0.21 deaths per 100,000 in 1962 to ZERO in 1978.

The US population in 1962 was approximately 190 million, so that 0.21 deaths per 100,000 works out to about 400 deaths in 1962, compared to ZERO in 1978.

That vaccine has saved 400 lives a year for more than 40 years, which works out in the range of 16,000 to 20,000 lives.

Your chart doesn't convey that information.
