Just thinking the how & why the recent Supreme Court decisions are leading to an imperial presidency.

AS IT IS
The principle of separation of powers in the U.S. Constitution divides the government into three co-equal branches: the legislative (Congress), the executive (the presidency), and the judicial (the courts). This structure, outlined in Articles I, II, and III of the Constitution respectively, is designed to prevent any one branch from becoming too powerful. The system of checks and balances ensures that each branch can limit the powers of the others.

Bending established law with bullshit:
the Supreme Court's "Originalism" has bastardized the true intent of the U.S. Constitutions separation of powers.
It will be most interesting to witness the Supreme Courts decision on DTrump's tariffs.. if he can usurp the authority of congress to impose tariffs under IEEPA.
I'm thinking Trump will get way with it.
