I don't pay attention to what professional money managers are doing, but i heard a few people on CNBC suggesting that about 75% of managers are underperforming this year. They sold some longs during that early April tariff tantrum and were probably waiting for some Trump related selloff or the normal Sept-Oct correction to reload.

Makes sense that underperforming managers would try to catch up using smaller high beta stocks. Gonna be an interesting final 12-13 weeks to 2025
