Insider sales, such as the recent report of sales by QCOM CEO, do not foretell some kind of disaster unless accompanied by similar sales by other insiders. Only then can one draw a conclusion that the CEO sale was for other than personal reasons. On the other hand, if an insider sale went unreported or was reported late to regulators, that could be a potentially serious issue and a possible signal of future weakness in the share price. In other words, it takes at least two to tango.
