All very much Enron and Bernie Ebers. I agree with you about small focused models based upon intelligence much like econometric modeling in the 80's. There is lots of promise it's just not where the money is being thrown. Given that Altman is the one most out front of the AI parade his comment is hillarious. Even being specifically told is not enough to halt today's state of avarice everywhere.
