Thanks @jritz0 for the AOD suggestion, but the yield seems too high (danger zone for me). Also, AOD is up like ~15% YTD, so wouldn't I be buying at the peak here? I avoid buying into a new super high yielding position and then having to sell/trim it soon because of drawdown or distribution cut risks (THW/THQ comes to mind). Though, I admit, on the surface AOD does look good. May need to look into it some more. I'm resisting adding any new CEFs into my DGI portfolio at this time, but can make exceptions.

Re. VZ, I decided not to sell/trim it till after the ex-div, which is just around the corner. Maybe after that I will try to trim some. AMLP has been on my watch-list for some time, so maybe I will get into it (slightly higher yield than VZ).

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion though.
