A supercomputer simulation predicts that life on Earth will end in 1 billion years due to the depletion of oxygen caused by the Sun's increasing heat. One day the Earth will die and... I understand your point, but keep in mind that the quality of life, rather than the length of life, is the most important consideration and may be the key element in the debate.
