People don't usually brag that their car's model has had more sales than yours --they tend to brag that it's faster than yours. ;)

It'd be nice if Snapdragon also got more robust sales too though. I think they are at critical mass after the prior gen --they have nerdy peoples' interest, and I don't mean the ones who just understand traditional PC gaming benchmarks. I mean people who write and compile code that really appreciate the no-gimmicks, faster iteration cycle that a fastest integer core contender like Oryon can consistently deliver on battery.

They were hobbled by the ARM lawsuit, but looks like they solidly traded blows with Apple, taking the lead in the traditional Apple stronghold of Speedometer. Here's hoping that they keep at the same pace going: Qualcomm needs to commit to a refresh at 2nm, and Microsoft and other software vendors (esp. kernel level driver people) needs to commit to polishing and porting too.
