It is possible Rak's first 3 holes are simply outside the main mineralizing event. And yes there can be samples showing gold that do not repeat in drilling. In this case though, there were both grab samples 92 g/t , 500 meters of talus sample and a 38 meter chip sample that ran over 1 g/t and as high as 5.8 . All at the base of an exposed pluton. The gold did not arrive via glacial drift. So, the first 3 holes are a massive miss, they did have some gold, and they had bismuth so the theory all the gold is in the bismuth is not a clear correlation for those holes. Is the project dead? I don't think so but I think it is badly wounded. 7 more holes to come I suspect it would be best to wait for them to prove something rather than bet they have something for sure.
