I find this ultra-right wing US government buying stakes in corporations rather bizarre. Isn't that called socialism?

I can remember when the likes of antimony, graphite, and tellurium were only mentioned in mining PRs as indications that there might be gold present. Indeed, antimony is actually very commonly found in gold deposits. I expect that over time it will become mostly a 'byproduct metal' once it becomes expensive enough for the large gold miners to find it economic to start extracting it rather than just leaving it in the tailings.

UAMY had North American antimony production to itself for many years., but they are not a serious company IMO. They put out WAY too many PRs, and too many of them are just to announce that the CEO is going to make an appearance on TV or at a conference.
