"Do you have your top 5 Value and/or GARP stocks on your list?" Not really. First, as you must know, I am all over the place. Circle of Competance? What's that? -g-. Secondly my likes change suddenly depending on price, as if a stock suddenly drops on what seems to me to be a temporary thing. Thirdly, I get enthused about a stock/situation, buy, and then kind of lose some enthusiasm for it. And so of course with all this, it turns out I'm wrong a lot.

That said let me throw out some stocks I am buying now:

Goodyear Tire (GT). Trying to buy a good-size position at within pennies of the 12-mo low. I just don't see how this stock cannot recover. However, I don't see that well, and if past holds, my enthusiasm will be my undoing once again.

I like mining stocks. They are not value stocks though, imo. I'm chasing a few. I'm swapping out a bit of copper miner LUNMF finance.yahoo.com for a little of penny copper stock GCUMF finance.yahoo.com

I'm adding to my losing position in subprime auto retailer CRMT as it falls to another new low. finance.yahoo.com

Per Elroy suggestion, I'm adding to ET to lower my cost basis. I'm ok with holding on for the current distribution yield.
