Isn't the core changes with SA also a key factor in the development of O-RAN?

A full implementation of SA seems essential to all mobile progress and the duplication of network equipment has to come with significant cost in people, space, time, knowledge and power.

The economics of network updates feeding phone updates feeding network updates just keeps rolling on.
