My daughter and i have an interview with her advisor at the end of the month. She has a 401k with some kind of standard menu and has access to American funds. She is in a targeted date fund which I don't like at her age of 44. I think she should have an S&P fund and perhaps an overseas fund and perhaps a technology fund. Any suggestions how you think someone that age should be invested. She needs to look at more growth in my opinion.
PS we own individual stocks in her IRA in addition to her 401k and even though she has had a 401k for several years has never met with them before.
