Similar to Nortel, Alcatel, Lucent, Cisco, and other telecom equipment vendors who were financing purchases of their equipment with 125% or more financing (like the 125% loan-to-value financing during the housing bubble). Most are gone or smaller. Likewise, the companies they helped to build out networks like Worldcom, Global Crossing, Worldcom, Orange, XO, and others are gone as are most of the regional Bells.
