Bill, the last time a ceasefire was reached between Israel and Gaza, it fell apart under Trump's watch. We'll see whether this latest ceasefire holds. Certainly it came about thanks to pressure from Trump, who is pissed off at Netanyahu but didn't seem to have much power over him until recently. This 20-point peace plan certainly seems sound. This is the first time that the Trump administration has held any "concept of a plan" when it came to foreign policy: Trump's 20-point Gaza peace plan in full (BBC) Don't know why it took me a while to Google this link, though.
