Google launches Gemini Enterprise, a new AI platform for businesses

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) unveiled Gemini Enterprise on Thursday — a powerful new artificial intelligence platform aimed at transforming workplace productivity by integrating company data, workflows, and employees into one centralized interface.
Described as “the new front door for AI in the workplace,” the platform is powered by Google’s most advanced Gemini models and offers employees a single, conversational chat interface to interact with company documents, data, and applications.
Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, revealed that 65% of Google Cloud customers are already using its AI solutions, including nine of the top ten AI labs and most AI unicorns. New customers include Figma, GAP Inc., Klarna, Mercedes-Benz Group, and Virgin Voyages.
Gemini Enterprise integrates six key pillars:
- Advanced Gemini AI models
- A no-code workbench for process automation
- Pre-built specialized agents
- Secure data connectivity across platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
- Centralized governance tools
- An open ecosystem with over 100,000 partners
Early use cases have already demonstrated meaningful impact. Banco BV has automated relationship manager analytics, Harvey has enabled Fortune 500 legal teams to save hours on due diligence, and Commerzbank’s chatbot now handles over two million chats, resolving 70% of customer inquiries.
Google also unveiled new features, including a Data Science Agent for automated workflows, next-generation conversational agents for customer engagement, and expanded Gemini CLI tools, which have already attracted over one million developers in just three months.
To drive adoption, Google introduced Google Skills, a free AI training platform, and created “Delta,” a specialized team designed to help organizations implement and scale AI solutions for complex business challenges. |
