I was once a LUC shareholder, as I have with many of the Lundin companies since mid 90's. I could have sold for a nice gain at one point but held, sold it a couple years ago at a loss and haven't followed it since. I wish them well. I'm glad William Lamb is back with them, I wish he never left in the first place.

Mining for diamonds is a tough tough business to make any money. Their life depends on the underground expansion success, probably in production some years away still, and whether anyone wants their diamonds even then. Now they struggle to find buyers for their massive stones they unearth. Man made diamond labs are eating their lunch imho and will keep prices low, also imho.

Things can change real quick though so all bets are off but personally they are too risky for me atm due to their debt. Management admits the company may soon not be of going concern. They are fortunate to have the Lundins backing them short term at further dilution for shareholders , as well the Bots gov wants them to stick around, but how much longer will that last, and will current shareholders benefit in the recovery? Who knows.

I wish you luck. I may jump back in but it won't be soon fwiw. My 2 pennies.
