How about food? Popcorn ready? I've got an old college friend landing at 11:57 in Austin. Has checked bags. Will probably be here by 1:30 in the morning. Getting too old for that. Setting an alarm and getting him an Uber. Washing sheets to make the bed. He's an old programmer guy, who lost his Director job during COVID. On the ropes financially. Says he's coming out to look for a job. There are no jobs for him. Think wife is kicking him out. Have to help an old friend, but not forever.
