The spreads (between bid and ask) make rolling out deep in the money options a little more challenging, but still doable... BTW, markets started tanking in Asia just on the news of Chinese actions on rare metals, port fees, but then Trump made it worse with belligerent comments. Trump still lives under delusion that the US is #1. He makes decisions based on that false assumptions, so the decisions will inevitably not be good.
