...I knew two PhDs at IBM.....one Mandarin, one Cantonese....... now I had multiple run ins with the Mandarin guy (Jack Sun) who I considered an extreme elitist ....I recall talking to the Cantonese guy one day and he told me he was going to play tennis with Sun after work....said how he relished kicking his ass because despite both being very smart guys with the same # of degrees from top schools, Sun still looked down on him ....because he was Cantonese.... just a bunch of farmers.... I never forgot that
