Gingrich started the polarization. Rove ratcheted it way up with his "permanent majority" via 50.1% of the polarized population. Biden and Obama failed to appreciate the true danger to America and allowed it to fester to today's mess because they wanted to play nice and be "respectable". They should have protected the country even at a personal expense. That was their job and they were unfit for it.
