Earnings anyone?

I'm trying to sort out all the evidence that could predict whether earnings this quarter will be good or bad. Here's what I have so far.

Good evidence:

1. Record Backlog
2. No earnings warning given as was last quarter

Bad Evidence:

1. Joe Gladue has been too optimistic in the past
2. Going from -.28 to .11 is not easy in 1 quarter
3. Only new product that will really add to EPS is IQX

What does everyone think?
