SMTK,DISH,TKLC,FLE,MHO were buys for me today.. TKLC and DISH were daytrades, coming into DISH for another 3/4 after I exited too quickly. SMTK was a buy around 1:30 p.m. LBOR was sold after the gap up for a total of 3 7/8 and the DS options (just a tiny bit unfortunately) will be sold at close of trading today. FOSL, BEDS, BVF had great reports and can still gap up tomorrow. Still holding my loser ORCL, but will dump before the close today. I will report before the close if I will buy either of the three of those. It's difficult sifting for the general momentum to find stocks that are up on fundamentals/technical that should be good for a 1-2 day hold, rather than stocks that can lose today's gains when the market steps back. Although I have nothing against sheer momentum plays, when the market is in a particular surge, I like to look for the "best of show" to try to get a extra days' play.
