NHC says tropical wave has a 50% chance but will be a fish. (below)
Remarkable how frontal systems have kept so many big storms away from the US mainland
this year, although the Carolinas have still sustained considerable tropical storm damage.
Nor'easter going full blast now on the East Coast, some winds at 60mph
