Chris, (dupli-post here)
On the LLV usage write something in the test like:

If(Stoch(x,x)>80, LLV(Stoch(x,x)<80,10),0)

That way if the stoch is above 80 today it must also have been below 80 at least once in that past 10 day period.

What David Smilay wrote could be set up as a binary indicator exactly as he posted it. What you'd do to incorporate it into a system test is to name that binary formula as a custom indicator ("Smilay Stoch Count", for example) whose value can range between 0 and 10. Then in a system test require the value of that indicator to be less than some value; i.e.

Fml("Smilay Stoch Count") < 10

looks for at least one day stoch value to be below 80 whether its above 80 today or not. Lowering the number would require more days that the stoch be below 80. I think you also need to incorporate a condition that it's currently above 80 today for it to be useful to you in a system test as:

If(Stoch(x,x)>80 AND Fml("Smilay Stoch Count") <= *, 1,0)

where * := max. number of days > 80 (in the past 10 days). You can adjust the variable value to whatever you think works best.

Helps or further confuses?
