What is it about Catholic school anyway, that they thought beating children into submission would make them learn? I do think that librarian has a crush on you, though, Del. That is why she makes sure you don't exceed your time on the computer. Maybe she wants to stick you under her skirt and mess around with you in the library bathroom?

I guess Mike has told you that the sweet birthday surprise you guys planned for me didn't exactly happen? I have emailed the radio station to see whether they screwed up or it all happened at exactly the one time my phone rang, but I really appreciate the thought, and thanks a lot!

My husband's first prerequisite in a wife was a woman who didn't chatter and laugh incessantly, and was relaxed, not hyper. Ha ha!! (That's me, except he went too far on the relaxed front, and now he is having trouble understanding why I cannot remember to do the housework. I am going right now to scrub down the entire stove, though--it just took me five hours of noodling around on the computer to gather together enough energy.) I think there are a lot of men who feel the same way, and perhaps your sister's boyfriend is beginning to realize he is one of them. How long have they been together, anyway? Perhaps he will be playing more and more golf in the near future!
