Bitcoin

Today I sold my shares in FBTC and IBIT and used the proceeds to purchase CBTO.
I also own BTCI and BITY for the income from Bitcoin.

My thoughts are that I don't know where bitcoin is going but I believe the trend is still up, but bitcoin could drop 50-90% and it wouldn't surprise me. CBTO is an 80% buffered Bitcoin ETF with a current cap of 45.83% and a max downside of 17.45%. In other words, I will still capture the first almost 46% of the gains if bitcoin rallies within the next 357 days, while my largest loss could be 17.45%. I like those numbers, the caveat is that those numbers only apply if you hold for the duration, however, I could sell anytime during this time.

I'm too old to have that much volatility (excitement) in my portfolio to have bitcoin unhedged and I don't want to follow it every day, CBTO works for me. Calamos also has a 100% and 90% buffered Bitcoin fund for those more conservative than me, or just don't own it :)
