Re. My thoughts are that I don't know where bitcoin is going but I believe the trend is still up, but bitcoin could drop 50-90% and it wouldn't surprise me.

Wow, I did the same this morning. My 2-wk old FBTC position was down 8% (tiny $400 loss), so I decided to bail on it and wait for it to bottom-out before buying again. Like you said, could drop 50-60%. Used the proceeds to add to GLD. This is all in IRA
